A big day for Weston and Newbridge

Planning is underway for the next WestFest on Saturday 2 June 2012. Get this date in your diary now.

Here’s the plan...
Reflecting the Jubilee celebrations and the Olympics, the festival will take the form of a Royal Tournament, an invitation to "have a go..." at your current sport or interest, or to try a new one.
How about bowling, archery or dance, improving your football technique, your painting skills or knowledge of local history.

Then there’ll be a big Celebration Street Party for everyone together, with lots of stalls and entertainments.  And then later on there may be an open concert.

But we need your help please, to make it happen...
None of this can happen without your help and ideas.
Can you contribute an activity or stall? Are you sporty or musical?
Can you be a marshal or give general assistance?
Please think what you can do, and let Sheila know.

Volunteers are requested to join the festival working party, and you are invited to come along to one or more of the WestFest Planning Meetings.  Here are the dates...
January 3, February 7, March 6, April 3, May 1  at 7.30pm
In the Courtyard Room at the All Saints Centre on Weston High Street.
