Typically the service consists of three parts: a piece of music, followed by a suitable reflection or meditation, followed by 20 minutes of silence.

All the guests staying at the Centre are warmly welcome to attend, as are members of the local community and local supporters of Ammerdown. It is a wonderfully soothing and calming experience.

We find that people who have travelled long distances to come to Ammerdown for the weekend particularly appreciate a chance to unwind in the peaceful atmosphere of the Chapel! Equally, the service is much appreciated by local volunteers and supporters, who appreciate the chance to catch their breath before their often busy weekends.

There is no need to book or let the Centre know you are coming. We simply ask that participants be sitting down in silence in the Chapel in time for the start of the service at 6.00pm.
