BATH'S FIRST CHRISTIAN FAIR - DYNAMIC NETWORKING OPPORTUNITY
Balloons have been ordered, city officials invited and charities and organisations including Carbondown, Robin Hood Ministries, Business Against Poverty and Healing On The Streets have confirmed attendance... The excitement is building for Bath's first Christian Networking Fair next Thursday (24th June) from 12.00pm at The Forum.
“This is an exciting and dynamic development for the city of Bath! It is an
opportunity for Christians across the city to meet people from other churches, who they may not meet otherwise.
"It's also an opportunity for a cross pollination of ideas and resources and a way that projects can gather practical support and bring alive the networking already happening on the Springboard site. I think that a lot could come out of this event - brand new projects, empowered Christians and changing communities.” said Peter Heywood, fair organiser and one of the Springboard Bath team.
Open from 12.00 to 2.30pm and then from 7.30pm in the evening in the Forum's ballroom, it is free to exhibit and free to attend.
Seen as the first of many such events, it is aimed at giving the spontaneous networking already happening through www.springboardbath.org.uk a 3-D platform, bringing the virtual world into the real one!
The Fair has been set up by the team behind www.springboardbath.org.uk – the recently launched Christian networking hub for people looking to support, create or take part in Christian projects in the city that impact the Bath community.

He said: “There will be opportunity for visitors to this free event, to leave their names and contact details, for future help from our Navigator Team – or for connecting with particular charities and projects.”
The mayor and all local and South West media have been invited to the event.
Editor, Emma Gypps said: “We want our readers and site users to take ownership of it, submit us news, articles, information on forthcoming events and their ideas. Our users and their news shapes our news agenda. We want Christians in the city to visit our site and sign up for our regular newsletter – they will hear about exciting developments in the city and we promise no spam.”
The Springboard website features areas for Christian projects in Bath, News and New Ideas, Coming soon, Jobs and Volunteering, Navigators, How to get help and support, and Bath's long-term Christian Diary.
