Bath YFC Leader Reassures Youngsters Over Exam Results

yfc_outsideHave you had your exam results this week?  Perhaps you were one of the many young people captured in a moment of elation by the Chronicle photographer yesterday, as many pupils around the city celebrated.  But if you didn't get the results you were waiting for, or worse still your spirits sunk....James Vaughton Director of Bath Youth For Christ has some words of wisdom.

“If you didn't get what you were expecting or wanted, it shouldn 't be seen as that's it...there's no hope going forward.  There are always other opportunities, maybe you haven't done as well as you expected, or you were hoping for in order to get an A' Level place...but don't worry." he says.

"Go back and speak to your school, you can usually get an opportunity to resit an exam and your school will work through it with you.  There's no getting away from the fact that exam results are important and I don't want to belittle that at all.  But remember, life is more than simply about exams. For some people assessment in exams isn't their forte."
