LONDON RIOTS... REVELATION TV CALLS FOR PRAYER AND FASTING
Revelation TV swapped their planned script for the recent 'Building The Foundation' programme, for an indepth examination of the why's behind the outbreak of riots across London and major cities in the UK. Reverend Jonathan Oleyede of The Global Day of Prayer, Reverend Hugh Jackman and Hackney's Reverend George Hargreaves, who is leader of The Christian Party were among guests speaking on last night's programme. Revelation TV's Gordon Pettie said: "We have no idea what will happen in our nation tonight but as Christians we have a duty to be 'watchmen on the walls' and 'stand in the gap' in prayer.

Many of Revelation TV's staff shared in last night's programme. Two pastors from the London team of 'Street Pastors' and others who had experienced rioting firsthand spoke out.
But in the face of adversity hope has triumphed as volunteers armed with brushes have turned out to clear up after the riot. The riots which began on 6 August in Tottenham, have affected Wood Green, Enfield Town, Ponders End, Brixton, Croydon and Clapham.
Other cities to have seen disturbances including arson, looting and violence include; Birmingham, Liverpool, Nottingham, Bristol and Medway. 
Pete Greig of 24/7 Prayer has launched an inspiring video on YouTube, asking us to pray for London. He says: "Please pray for three things: Pray for the people affected, the Police, emergency services and MP's and thirdly the pastors who will be on the ground long after the Police and emergency services leave."
"Yes London's burning but God is yearning for a generation who is angry, greedy and wants to know what life is about.."
Ironically, Twitter which has been alluded to as a tool for rioters to incite disturbances is also the vehicle for those wanting to heal London now, from the effects of violence.

Police have released footage of a copycat incident at a jeweller's in Bristol's Cabot Circus last night.
