What does SOC aim to achieve or do?
It seems very organic on Facebook - with people able to join and join in... Is this how it is? Is it aimed at likeminded people - all willing to go out and worship, evangelise?
This is totally how it is!! Anyone is welcome to come along and sing or pray. It is aimed at people who have a passion for God and who are eager to see His Kingdom come.
What happens on a Saturday when SOC gets together? How do you start? and how does the day progress?
we think we have everyone we're expecting, we pray for God's protection and boldness upon ourselves, pray for a location then head to either where God tells us to go or to one of the areas around the town that is suitable for busking. What are your hopes and dreams and future plans for SOC?
There seems to be a deliberate move to be on the streets/outside.. Is this part of your success?
We know about some of the other groups that do evangelistic work, like the Street Pastors and Graham Duke and his team, and are hoping to possibly do some worship in conjunction with them at some point, but we as a group believe we have been called to worship on the streets, not evangelise.
