More To Life Olympic Opening Night Village Party Planned For Weston!
Some time ago we asked Grant Sheppard of WSM 'What's your Olympics?'... And
we would love to know how you are planning to celebrate with your friends and neighbours? More To Life in Weston have got the perfect solution! With a fabulous village party planned to take place in All Saints Church from 7.30pm on opening night - 27 July! A spokesman said: "The main ceremony will be on screens in the church and it starts at 9.00pm. An Olympic Beacon will be lit during the evening outside of the church. It promises to be fantastic fun! It will be one of the biggest events during this extraordinary year.. Let's watch it together!"

" It will be a Bring and Share party, so please bring food and drink to share with others. Then we can all eat lots of different food." he continued.
There is no strict dress code, but taking inspiration from the party theme and the once in a lifetime sense of the occasion, sporting gear, red, white and blue, dinner
jackets, or party dresses will all be welcomed!
The doors will open at 7.30pm and the Olympics Opening Ceremony starts at 9.00pm. It will all finish at about midnight, so this will be a late night. It's a once in a lifetime night when the kids can stay up late and people will be free to come and go as they please.
