The Opening Ceremony Went With A Bang!.. The Olympics Have Arrived
Dancing doctors - in some cases real (volunteering), dancing children on lit up beds 
to resemble a crescent moon, a tribute to the NHS, saturday night tv, Brunel, the industrial revolution, and pop music! The Olympics Opening Ceremony was definitely a night to remember!!..And not forgetting James Bond and Her Majesty the Queen dropping in to start the games off!.. The night had a quintessentially 'English' feel to it and our history was encapsulated during the celebrations, including tributes to soldiers who have given 
their lives in the First and Second World Wars.. But before the evening unfolded, churches and Christians across the whole of our nation rang bells at precisely 8.12am.. 12 hours ahead of the spectacular ceremony!..
